schwinn lavin 25 2005

i got this on monday. i couldnt ride it for a few days though as it needed some minor tuneups. especially the front brake, that was put on by the bike shop, is being awkward. i'm not quite sure how to fix it, but i'm thinking about taking it to a local shop as i bought this over the net.

heaps of people are skeptical about net shopping, especially when it's for something this big. but living in scandinavia, i sort of have to take what i can get. this bike was really cheap, compared to other bmx bikes round here, and im not exactly made of money so it was a good deal all in all.

they put all these idiotic reflectors on it though. cos it says in the law that youve got to have them. yeah great, take a cool bike and make it uncool. thanks a lot, lol.

i've ridden it a couple of times, and it feels good. i havent had a bicycle in ages so im still just getting used to it. it seems a bit heavy, but that may just be cos of my spaghetti arms, lol. sometime soon i'll probably get better at all that bunnyhopping and whatnot :)

just cos im bored, i'll post the full specs on it. not that i understand even half of it, but still.

i nicked that from www.schwinnbikes.com
some of the geometry info is missing, i know, but the list was like that on the site.

ive read about how black/raw metal rims are rubbish and you should get chrome rims, but again, its a matter of the cost. in america you can probably get a bike with chrome rims for a decent price, but its different here. perhaps i should move to america...for cheap chrome rims?
lol, cheers...
